Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 26, 2026
Welcome to Delivering Retail Excellence ("DRE", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website dreretail.co.za, booking a Gap Assessment, or engaging our retail operations consulting services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services
DRE provides retail operations consulting, on-site diagnostics (Gap Assessments), standard operating procedure (SOP) design, process compliance tracking, and shopfloor team training.
All services are delivered by experienced retail consultants and are designed to identify operational store gaps (receiving, stock handling, merchandising, front-end, shrinkage, etc.) and propose actionable recovery strategies.
2. Diagnostic Gap Assessments & On-Site Audits
When booking a physical store diagnostic or Gap Assessment, you agree to the following operational conditions:
- Access: You must grant our consulting team physical access to your retail trading floor, receiving bays, inventory stockrooms, and staff training areas during the agreed diagnostic hours.
- Information Accuracy: You agree to provide our team with accurate operational parameters (e.g. number of staff, scheduling charts, shrink figures) to enable us to run a valid diagnostic audit.
- Cancellations: If you need to postpone or cancel an on-site visit, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Visits outside our main hubs (Gauteng and Western Cape) may incur travel-coordination fees if cancelled with short notice.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All materials provided by DRE, including diagnostic checklists, retail calculator spreadsheets, report templates, operational guidelines, SOP structures, and training manuals, are the intellectual property of DRE.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials solely within their own stores or franchise entities. You may not sell, redistribute, publish, or share these frameworks with external third-party organizations without our express written consent.
Limitation of Liability
DRE's audits, reports, and recommendations are based on observed shopfloor practices, interviews, and operational data provided by the client during site visits. While we aim for peak accuracy, retail results depend on store-level execution and management compliance. DRE does not guarantee specific revenue gains or shrinkage reductions and will not be liable for any direct or indirect business losses arising from the implementation of our advice.
4. Payment Terms & Travel Fees
Standard engagement rates and payment schedules will be agreed upon in writing (in a formal Service Level Agreement or Quotation) prior to commencing any diagnostic visits.
For diagnostics or workshops conducted outside the Gauteng and Cape Town metropolitan regions, additional travel, accommodation, and subsistence fees will be pre-agreed and billed to the client.
5. Governing Law
These Terms of Service, and any disputes arising out of your engagement with DRE, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
